Drive-in racking

The company mainly produces and operates: various types of racking, product types range from unmanned fully automatic automated three-dimensional warehouses, semi-automatic shuttle racking systems, to small supermarket self-selection racking, and related logistics peripheral equipment (such as: storage cages, pallets, etc.).

Product Introduction

Drive-in racking, also known as drive-through racking or block stacking racking, is a special type of racking system. Its main feature is that forklifts can directly drive into the racking for goods storage and retrieval. This racking system is suitable for storing goods with fewer varieties and large quantities, and it can improve warehouse space utilization.

The advantages of drive-in racking are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1.  High space utilization Because goods are stored and retrieved from the same side of the drive-in racking using a FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method, its space utilization is greatly improved. In the absence of intermediate partitions, the aisle width between racks can be reduced to a minimum, increasing the storage density of the warehouse. According to statistics, the warehouse space utilization rate can reach more than 70%.

2.  Space saving Since goods are stored and retrieved from the same side of the rack, there is no need to leave a special aisle for the forklift, thus reducing the non-storage area in the warehouse and improving the utilization rate of the warehouse area.

3.  Strong adaptability Drive-in racking can adapt to various types of goods. By adjusting the beam height, it can meet different storage size requirements. In addition, the racks can be arranged arbitrarily as needed, suitable for various warehouses and logistics centers, including the food and beverage industries, and are even relatively common in cold storage.

4.  Cost reduction Because more goods can be stored per unit volume, the cost per storage location can be reduced. In addition, due to the improved efficiency of storing and retrieving goods, labor costs and energy consumption can also be reduced, further reducing operating costs.

5.  Convenient operation Counterbalance and reach trucks can easily drive into the middle of the rack to store and retrieve goods without occupying too much aisle space, making goods storage and retrieval more convenient and efficient.

6.  Improved storage capacity Due to the structural characteristics of drive-in racking, more storage locations can be arranged in a limited space, thereby improving the storage capacity of the warehouse.
