The production process of stamping parts usually includes the following main steps:

 

Material Preparation

- Material Selection: Select suitable metal or non-metal materials according to the usage requirements of the stamping parts, such as cold-rolled steel sheets, stainless steel sheets, aluminum sheets, and copper. The thickness, hardness, yield strength, and other properties of these materials must meet the process requirements.

Die Manufacturing

- Machining and Manufacturing: Use milling machines, lathes, grinders, CNC machining centers, EDM, wire cutting, and other equipment to convert the die drawings into actual die parts, and perform assembly and debugging to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the die.

Stamping Process

- Die Installation: Install the debugged die on the stamping machine, adjust the position and gap of the die, ensure that the die is accurately centered with the workbench and slider of the stamping machine, and ensure that the installation is firm.

- Stamping Forming: Start the stamping machine, apply pressure to the material through the punch (upper die) and die (lower die), causing the material to undergo plastic deformation to obtain the stamping part of the required shape. Finishing Treatment

- Deburring and Trimming: The edges of the stamped products may have burrs and excess waste materials, which need to be removed through deburring processes (such as manual deburring, mechanical deburring, electrolytic deburring, etc.) and trimming processes to improve product quality and safety.

- Cleaning and Surface Treatment: Remove oil stains, debris, and other impurities generated during the stamping process, and perform surface treatment according to product requirements, such as electroplating, spraying, and phosphating, to improve the corrosion resistance and appearance of the product.

 

Inspection and Packaging

- Inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the size, shape, and surface quality of the stamping parts to ensure that the product meets the design requirements and quality standards. Common inspection methods include visual inspection, measurement tool measurement, and experimental testing.

- Packaging: Properly package the inspected stamping parts to prevent damage during transportation and storage. The packaging method depends on the characteristics of the product and customer requirements, such as using carton packaging, plastic bag packaging, and pallet packaging.
